Step Ip游走於多元媒介之間，聲音創作涉獵劇場、編曲、當代舞蹈、聲音藝術等，以聲響試圖模糊音樂類型的既有邊界。近年開始發展個人嘈音project，專注於信號的拆解和重構，藉此打破聽覺的日常慣性。樂手及實驗樂隊「假日貞操」成員。

聲音掏腰包「藝術家支援計劃」2022 – 23（特別策劃）獲選藝術家，並與友人演奏即興嘈音。隨後參與耳震盪Noise Fest 2024演出個人即興電子創作，2025-2026年在 feaston Haptic Collison 集體即興、上海 Cedar Kitchen、香港Exit-Entry 往來、無害Mouhoi、Cultkey 等延續個人電子即興。

 

Step Ip, based in Hong Kong, is an electronic composer and sound designer in theatre, contemporary dance and sonic art etc. She is a live musician and percussionist with experimental band, Virgin Vacation. 

 

Supported by soundpocket’s Artist Support Programme (2022-23) (Special Edition), she initiated a collaborative noise ensemble performance. She followed with her solo electronic performance at Noise Festival 2024, collective improvisation in Haptic Collision 2025, and solo noise set at Cedar Kitchen Shanghai, Exit-Entry HK, Mouhoi HK and Cultkey between 2025-2026.
